With the creation of RomeMama.com, Lynn and Rachel (and webmaster, Georges) hope to provide English-speaking mothers living in Rome an easy and fun way to make friends for themselves and their children. Here is a 'place' to find support and community with other women experiencing similar challenges and to exchange the practical information needed to get the most out of living in Rome. Lynn and Georges grew up in the U.S.A. Lynn is a registered nurse and a Lactation consultant certified with IBCLC. She has earned the French diploma, Infirmière Puéricultrice and has been a childbirth educator and a breastfeeding specialist for over 25 years. Before moving to Rome, Lynn worked in hospitals in France, Israel, and the USA. Lynn and Georges have three young adult children living in the USA and the UK. Rachel moved to Italy from England in 1996. Whilst living and working in Italy, Rachel acquired the language and a good understanding of Italian life. She lives with her Italian husband and their three young children, all of whom were born in Rome. Disclaimer: This site is NOT designed to give medical or legal advice.
