Our Philosophy We believe that this forum is a place where we can all benefit from the exchange of information, moral support, and healthy debate. As mothers we are all aware of how challenging raising children can be.  We remind you that everyone has a right to their own opinion so please give other forum users the same respect that you would expect to receive for your comments. Your goal for the website definitely seems to have been met, as many people are arranging to get together. I am so pleased to have met such interesting people already......and more of us are planning to get together with our babies in September, so as you can see, I am another example of someone who has gotten a lot out of the site, and I'm sure I will value it even more now that my baby has arrived. After spending so much time reading the information posted on your site, I can't imagine not having such a useful resource! --- Debbie J.

I have a little boy aged nearly 2 and a little girl who is 2 months old. We will be moving to the San Pietro area in March 2010 and I would love to hear of any other English speakers who would like to get together with the children in that area or nearby (such as Prati, Montemario, Balduina or Monteverde). It would be wonderful to organise a playgroup so children and mothers can have some fun!! Leonie

Hello! I live in Monte Mario, I've got a 2-year old little girl. We've been looking to find English playgroups in the area, and have resorted to the ladybirds' playgroup in Via del Babbuino, held in the church hall. A bit far, but may be worth it. They meet on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 to 12 am. Vanessa

Maybe we could meet up with the children? I have a little boy aged 20 months. Next month we are moving to San Pietro which is not far from Monte Mario. Leonie

I live in Prati and would definitely be interested in a playgroup with other english speakers, although my son is only 4.5 months old.

Hi all,

Just a quick note to say we meet up regularly at the little library we have set up in Balduina. We meet, chat, let our kids play and have coffee. You should come check it out.
